For Use of the St. Mary Magdalene's Parish Hall

  1. The Hall should be left clean and tidy on your departure.
    All dirt, rubbish and/or food scraps are to be removed from the property when you leave.

  2. If you have used our Rubbish bins, they are also to be emptied before you leave.

  3. Sweep the floors.  Small items will invariably end up in the mouths of small children.
  4. Make sure that the toilet areas are left clean and tidy. 
    This includes both the unisex toilet inside and the men's toilets through the back door.

  5. Users should have vacated the premises before the time of departure indicated when booking.

  6. Any breakages need to be reported as soon as possible, by contacting the office,
    or by email at info@parishofpohangina.net

  7. If you use the oven or the microwave, please clean them before you leave. 
    Please don't leave anything of yours in the fridge.

  8. If you used the last of any Parish consumables (tea, coffee, sugar, milo etc) please replace them.

  9. All church buildings are Smoke Free
    Have people smoke outside if they must - ensure their butts picked up and removed from the property.

  10. Please ensure that all the lights are switched off, the heaters are switched off.
    Check that all the doors are locked when you leave

  11. Leave the MAIN switch on, so that the office phone functions and the fridge stays on.
     
  12. The Parish Office is not available or in any way part of your use or hire of the hall.

  13. The main Church Building is not available or in any way part of your use or hire of the hall.

  14. The church grounds, including the paddock behind the hall are available for use as part of your hall use. 
    Please check with us about the paddock first as stock may be present.

     
  15. Hall hire charges will be set when we ring to confirm your booking
    Payment will be required when the hall key is collected. 

  16. Please make sure that the key is returned promptly as others are often needing it soon after you finish.

  17. We believe this list of conditions are fair and reasonable for the general use of our hall.
  18. These guidelines are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Parish Vestry.
